Totality owned by the Public Property Agency, the National Lottery of Moldova holds the official state monopoly, empowered to administer and organize lottery and gambling activities.
LNM was created to ensure consumer protection, at the highest level, against manipulation through gambling, fraud, money laundering, addiction or other financial crimes. LNM assumes the responsibility to control the proper conduct of gambling on the sovereign territory of the Republic of Moldova, in order to combat illegal gambling activities.
Also, the Government of the Republic of Moldova believes that the regulation and commercialisation of gambling activities will bring substantial financial benefits to the state budget, which can then be directed towards education, health, sport, culture and infrastructure, etc.

Ensuring an efficient process of administration and management in a responsible manner by creating conditions, uniform application of legislation and regulations in the field of lottery and gambling and ensuring the necessary level of resources in the interest of the state and citizens of the Republic of Moldova.
